I’m currently building an online store for a customer based in Bristol.
However, the job has been more than just a website, it's turned into a rebranding exercise!
As well as designing the website, I’ve made a metre wide print quality jpeg for a banner, a metre square logo and customised some labels, to ensure that there is a consistency across across the brand.
To keep everything ’on brand’ the website carries through the colours used in the logo and business name.
Building an online store is so much more than just a website, there's the product management system, shipping conditions, payment process and customer accounts.
On top of that we'll be looking at collecting emails onto a customer relationship management system (CRM), then there's email campaigns to consider and emailing 'abandoned carts'.
Ultimately, the intention is to use all the free business tools that come with a Wix website to automate systems, to generate more sales. The end result should be a mini version of a major retailer!
